Scientifically based exercise methods to increase a patient's physical fitness, i.e. strength, endurance and flexibility. Two factors are important: the targeting of therapeutic movement and its dosage. Kinesiotherapy always targets the part of the body that is damaged or dysfunctional.
What does it treat?
Long-term immobility, mostly in patients with limited mobility, which causes permanent changes in the internal organs. The function of the central nervous system (CNS), which controls movement, is affected. It is kinesiotherapy that maintains the CNS at a certain level or may even improve its function. Its main task is the restoration of neuromuscular activity. It has three main effects: it positively affects the internal system - digestion and respiration, the function of the musculoskeletal system and improves the general condition of the body.
